Networking is such an important part of every business (including ours!), and it’s naturally a great way to meet some amazing people. Karen Loftus and Lesle first met at a Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) meeting in 2017. SMPS is a diverse community of marketing and business development professionals working together to move the A/E/C (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industries forward. Over the years, Karen and Lesle continued to see each other at various events throughout the A/E/C industries. Naturally, when Lesle got a call from Loftus Engineering requesting some updated headshots, she was thrilled to come alongside Karen’s firm and help out.

Corporate headshots may appear simple, but they are by no means an “easy” art form. The goal is to produce photos that are cohesive and professional, but not stiff or impersonal. We set up the shoot in front of a seamless background with a consistent lighting setup in order to keep things cohesive, but encouraged variation in poses to keep people comfortable and allow their individual personalities to shine through. Keeping the setup simple makes the person the focal point of the image.
Lesle loves coming in and helping companies update their entire team’s professional images, and everyone enjoyed the results of this collaboration!
